FAQ
What is the difference between Self-Confidence and Self-Esteem?
Self-Confidence is a state of being certain about your actions, prediction or conviction is correct. It is having trust in yourself and is what you display to others.
Self-Esteem is how you feel about yourself - the estimation of your value, or the measure of your importance.
How can talking therapy help my confidence and self-esteem?
Often life, or people knock both confidence and self-esteem. Simply during the course of your life many things including the act of living whether it is simply life's events, such as parenthood, tiredness, illness, constant criticism or destructive relationships cause people to doubt themselves. By undertaking a course of therapy, the act of getting to know yourself and why you respond in a certain way and acknowledge strengths and weaknesses allows the criticism to be put into perspective.
What will happen if I contact you?
When you click the "contact me" button a form will appear I will ask you about yourself, your name, whether you are looking for individual or group therapy and for your email address and then I will contact you by email.
Why haven't you published your phone number and email address
Whilst the internet is great for finding help and advice. I have been spammed and this resulted in thousands of unsolicited emails and phone calls, so I've found this solution more secure. If you have any questions please use the form to ask away and I aim to respond within 24 hours.
